What We Do.

  • Educate.

Our YouTube channel was created to educate teens and young adults on issues that many of them may face in their daily lives. The co-founders are always transparent with their experiences which makes them much more relatable to others. Some of these topics include mental health, uncomfortable transitions in life, and the importance of uplifting your peers.

  • Inspire.

We love to teach people about how important their voices are and how they can positively impact the world. Many of our “nuggets of knowledge” are posted on Instagram. Some of those include: financial literacy, how to keep your mind stimulated, the importance of mental health, educating our communities, and tips on self-care when having a busy schedule.

  • Encourage.

There are so many resources available to us in the DC area. The problem is sometimes people do not know about them. We are dedicated to spreading the word about free opportunities in our community. We share these on our Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok and Facebook. Some of the resources we have shared included food assistance facilities, educational opportunities, and so much more!

  • Give.

There is nothing more rewarding than actively helping those within your community. We assist other local organizations by cooking and preparing hot meals to give to the unhoused community. During the winter months, we donate socks, thermals, and blankets all around Washington, D.C. There is no such thing as a small contribution, only a huge impact!

  • Empower.

We do not tolerate any hatred towards others of different marginalized groups. It is our goal to always uplift and support those who are often silenced in our community. We use our platform to show our solidarity for people of the LGBTQUIA+ community as well as participating in local protests to fight for the rights of all BIPOC. We are constantly trying to teach ourselves and teach others along the way in order to decrease the separation in the world.

  • Connect.

Life is about building strong relationships. Through pop-up shops held in the DMV, we connect with everyone in the community and tell them about our mission. Our merchandise reflects our positive messaging and allows for people to be a part of our “Cultivate Family”. It is a collective effort and we are so appreciative of everyone who helps us execute these events!

Cultivating Conversations with DP Squared.

After guest appearing on the 30 Minute Hour Podcast, Deja and DeAndre were offered their own show. Since January 2022 they have thousands of views collectively while tackling topics such as their favorite books, racism, gun violence, relationships, current events, and mental health. With plenty episodes in the books, they are just getting started.

Deja and DeAndre incorporate guests on their podcast. We would love to build more unique partnerships in the future - email us to learn more on how to do that!
